Shrimp & Pasta Eastern Shore


12 oz package Bay Seasoning Linguine

6 TBSP butter

2 TBSP olive Oil

2 cups canned tomatoes, pureed OR

4-6 cloves of garlic, minced

 ½ cup white wine

10 oz cherry tomatoes cut in half

1 lb. peeled, and deveined uncooked shrimp

1 cup of pasta "water”


Melt butter and olive oil in pan.   Add garlic, and tomatoes, simmer 2 minutes.  Add white wine and shrimp.  Cook 2-3 minutes until shrimp is pink.  Cook pasta in lightly salted boiling water for 4-5 minutes.  Drain. Toss pasta and shrimp together, adding pasta water if needed.  Serve immediately.
