Pasta Pomodoro con Porri over Spinach Linguine

1 12 oz package spinach linguine
1/2 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic
2 cups cleaned and chopped leeks
2 cups sliced cherry tomatoes 
salt and pepper to taste
Freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)

In a saucepan, saute olive oil with garlic, leeks and tomatoes for 15 minutes on medium temperature. Cook pasta in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, drain. Toss pasta with sauteed tomatoes and leeks. Season with salt and pepper. Toss with grated cheese.
