About US
Our company was founded by Mary Frances Valente, in 1982. She began by making pasta for friends and family and then selling her handmade pasta at the Charlottesville Farmer’s Market. After a few years, she expanded into specialty stores and local retailers. After graduating from culinary school in Paris, Mary Ann Valente, Mary Frances’ daughter, joined the team to create new flavors and complimentary recipes. Over the years, family members, sons, nephews, and cousins have participated in the growth of the company.
