Classic Fettuccine with Calabrian Marinara Sauce

12 oz Valente Market Fettuccine

4 cloves garlic, minced

28 oz can Italian-style tomatoes, crushed or diced

Clark and Hopkins Calabria hot sauce

Parmesan cheese, shaved

Fresh basil

 

Sauté garlic in olive oil over medium-low heat for about 1 minute.

Add diced tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add a handful of minced basil and a splash of Calabria hot sauce, to taste. Simmer for about 4 minutes.

While the sauce is simmering, cook pasta in rapidly boiling, salted water until al dente- about 4-5 minutes. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.

Stir pasta into the marinara and coat the pasta in the sauce. You may add the reserved pasta water if needed.

Serve with fresh basil and shaved Parmesan cheese.
